Emila Yusof is a full time illustrator and graphic designer. She is a self-taught artist and enjoys a loyal following of her work, in particular for her whimsical characters. A multi-talented artist, she also sews custom-design tote bags and is an avid photographer.

Born in Raub, in the Pahang state of Malaysia, Emila now live in Kuala Lumpur with her husband, son, and mother. Emila is an active blogger and more of her work can be seen in emilayusof.com.


Nur Azmi Mokhter

Malaysian naive art artist Nur Azmi Mokhtar is a graduate of UiTM's fine art faculty. He has participated in several exhibitions in Malaysia. His River Series is his first major work after graduation. According to Azmi, the River Series is an attempt to connect crowds using strong tones of colours and the stylised forms of naive art. This he has achieved admirably. Azmi finds inspiration for the series from his days growing up in a village beside a river bank.

Of particular interest to Azmi are animals and apart from illustrating the Animal Adventures in Tipee Hipee Safari Park, he has also recently completed a comic book series on endangered species.



Sarah Joan Mokhtar

Sarah Joan Mokhtar's career began at age 15 when her comics began to be featured in Malaysian publications. Today she works as a full time comic artist and illustrator. Hightlights of her career include being chosen to participate in Lingua Comica 2007, an international level event organised and hosted in London by the ASEF, and being a recipient of the Malaysian Digital Comic Grant by MDec in 2006. She is also assisting in the creation of a guidebook for counselors at the Women's Centre for Change in Penang, Malaysia, which offers aid and support to victims of child and sexual abuse.

Sarah works with clients both locally and abroad and has created children's books, magazine illustrations and promotional materials and character designs for both companies and individuals.
